FAQs

  • Grateful is designed for people who need to receive or make recurring payments. It is especially useful for those who have a project or offer a service and are looking for a recurring payment method directly from their community or beneficiaries. This includes merchants, consultants, educators, content creators, etc. Payments can be made from anywhere in the world.

  • Grateful is useful for anyone seeking their own economic sustainability. We love projects with a vocation for serving humanity and a vision of a more integrated and grateful world.

  • Optimism and Polygon.

  • Your first profile is free, courtesy of Grateful. If you have more than one project, you can have multiple profiles associated with your wallet. For the creation of additional profiles, you will need to pay the network fee.

  • First, you need to create a profile. To do this, you will need to connect a decentralized wallet. Once your wallet is connected, your profile will be ready to receive funds in Grateful, either by depositing money or receiving recurring payments.

  • With your profile, you will have a link and a QR code for monthly payments that you can share with anyone you want. Through this link, people will be able to make recurring payments that will be transferred from their balance to yours.

  • You need to have your Grateful profile connected to your wallet and have a balance, meaning deposited funds. The amount you choose will be transferred from your balance to the profile(s) you are contributing to.

  • The monthly payments will be active as long as there is balance in your profile. If you run out of balance, they will be paused until you deposit funds in Grateful from your wallet and reactivate your payments. Grateful will notify you when your balance is about to run out so you can renew it before your payments are deactivated.

  • DAI, USDT, USDC.e for deposits and recurring payments. To pay the network fee, you will need Ethereum on the Optimism network and Matic on the Polygon network.

  • Yes. Grateful allows you to cancel a recurring payment at any time in a very simple way.

  • Absolutely! Grateful allows you to give and receive recurring payments through the same profile. To receive payments, you need to share your link. To make payments, you can deposit funds and use them for your recurring payments. If you deposit funds, you can opt to generate interest.

  • When you make a deposit in Grateful, you can opt to invest it in AAVE, an Ethereum network protocol, to generate yield (annual dividend return), which will be available in your balance.

  • Nothing. Really, nothing. Grateful does not charge fees. The only cost the user will have to pay is the network fee.

  • Grateful seeks to fund itself in the same way it promotes everyone to do: through its own contributions. You can contribute to Grateful with a recurring payment if you find it valuable and feel grateful for it :-)

  • Grateful is a decentralized service that promotes the transfer of value and agreements between parties without the mediation or intervention of third parties, especially large companies like banks and traditional financial institutions. This is possible thanks to being part of the crypto ecosystem, which also enables its global operation.

  • Yes! The contracts were audited by Macro and you can see the audit documents here.

  • We believe in gratitude as the most genuine place from which to balance what we give and receive. If the economy consists of exchanges of value, our commitment to a more balanced and humane economy is to put gratitude at the center of that scheme. It is about achieving an economy in touch with spirituality.

  • These people have supported or currently support our project in one way or the other, and we deeply appreciate their contributions.
